As-Seen-On-TV Home Gyms—Are They Worth It?
If you’ve ever watched late night TV, chances are you’ve come across an infomercial about all-in-one home gyms, such as Bowflex and Total Gym.
You see these beautiful toned, sculpted, perfect bodies promoting home gym fitness equipment in the infomercials, and you probably wondered…
“Does the Bowflex really work ???”
Keep in mind that the people who are hired for the infomercials probably did not limit their training only to the equipment they’re hired to promote.
But unlike many of the abdominal based fitness machines, which tend to come and go every few months, the Bow flex and TotalGym are consistently being advertised, which would indicate that people are benefiting from these home fitness machines.
You must remember that a home gym and all exercise equipment are just tools….a dumbbell, home gym, or a Bow flex is only as good as you make it to be.
What Really Works
- A well designed and balanced training program
- Persistence (whatever it is you’re using to workout, you have to keep on using it to see results!)
- A little bit of hard work
With these in mind, you can achieve the body you desire with just about whatever home gym you use.
